Camp Attaway is firmly commited to meeting the needs of children and families regardless of their ability to pay for the program. Families who can afford to pay the full tuition of $1,950. All other families take advantage of our generous scholarship program which has made it possible for us to accept EVERY camper who is eligible.

We continue to receive support from the following funding resources:

1. the campers' families, with a sliding fee scale applied for those who cannot meet the entire cost; special attention and sensitivity is given to low income and minority applications;
2. arrangements with the Howard County Public Schools, Departments of Community Mental Health and Social Services;
3. in-kind contributions from the University of Maryland Department of Special Education;
4. donations from private donors and foundations; and
5. in-kind contributions from Howard County Parks and Recreation Department.

The members of the Board of Directors have each made financial as well as in-kind contributions to the corporation. Private donations have been received in response to the Friends of Attaway Campaign, a direct mail solicitation.

Multi-year or annually repeated gift or major grant support has been received from the following organizations: The Horizon Foundation, BUCS Federal Bank, The Rotary Club of Columbia, The Simple Abundance Charitable Fund, The Morino Institute, The Columbia Foundation, The Feldman Family Foundation, Ruppert Landscaping Company, Freddie Mac Corporation, Dart Group/Crown Books Foundation, Tivoli Corporation, The Jones Foundation, United Way of Central Maryland, The Allstate Foundation, The Albright Foundation, The Stone Family Foundation, The Savich Family Foundation, and the Lefrak Family.
